One of the newest and best methods of getting attention
to your website is by doing a press release. If it is done by someone skilled in search
engine optimization, full of rich keyphrase text, and links back to your site, it can be a fantastic
source of garnering new incoming links, attention from blogs, and a temporary, but substantial
boost in the search engines, particularly Yahoo and Google. All of the major engines now
have a category called "News", and if the release is done properly, it will begin to show there almost immediately, and be in the actual search results within a couple of days.
A press release can announce a new business or service, tell everyone about a new trend in the econony concerning your product, or just update the readers on reasons why they should purchase your product or services.
We like the news service of PRWeb and PRWeb Direct, and can design and produce a link filled,
optimized release from your provided text starting at $150.00. We have found that the paid services with
PR Web are very reasonable, and produce astounding results. They have several packages at different prices, and even free releases, although they do not include actual links, which is part of the reason for doing them.
Aside from the link value, press releases are read by
the media, as well as anyone interested in the topic you are writing about. According to Nielsen/NetRatings, Yahoo News had a unique audience of 21 million visitors in the U.S. in June 2004 -- more than the number of unique visitors to AOL Search (20.3 million). And Google News had a unique audience that month of 6.3 million, smaller than Ask Jeeves (10.5 million), but larger than any of the second tier search engines. That is a tremendous audience for your
business product, and worth the small cost of creating one, with or without links!
If you are interested in having us create a press release for
you, please contact us by phone or email. We highly recommend this new way of advertising your website and services, and for about $150, we can have it sent to all the search engines and large media services such as CNN and NBC News. Any
paid release will also be included in paid search services such as Overture and Excite, and many major newspapers also read and select articles from the news archives.
Below is a press release that we did for our
Myrtle Beach
Restaurants and Hotels Directory on New Years day, 2005. At this writing, January 7th, it has been viewed more than 60,000 times, and shows well in Google and Yahoo for
the term Myrtle Beach Restaurants. While this benefit may fade without permanent links from several sources, it provides this nice boost for about a month, and can actually remain in the results with the proper linkage. Yahoo News also picks it up on a permanent page and provides a long term link.
We're listed as a Public Relations Firm in PRWeb.com's Directory.
